Radio Operator - MOME

1. Establish communications with ALL infield support resources:
- Vessel
- Helicopters
- Relay Station
- Other installations in field
2. State the emergency and location.
3. Instruct vessels to approach into location and support.
4. Search and look for possible MAN OVERBOARD.
5. Fire Fighting Support.
6. Coordinate support services as directed by the OIM.
7. Keep accurate and up to date records.

ABANDONMENT
1. Release a MAYDAY CALL.
2. Handover Incident Management to other authority.
3. Establish a RVP(Rendezvous Position).
4. Establish communications with lifeboats and support vessels of intentions.
5. Gather all radio traffic records together prior to abandonment.

Event Recorder - MOME

1. Keep accurate records in the management boards.
2. Make sure your records are keep in sequence and have a time line.
3. Report to the OIM regularly.
4. Remember your writing must be legible.
5. Listen to all conversation.
6. Complete Checklist.
7. Always compare your key event board with other focus board in the room are there any mismatches.

Remind the OIM when to have Time Outs

Deputy OIM - MOME

1. Communicate and Monitor the Fire Teams REGULARLY.
2. Command the Fire Team to the Incident Scene.
3. Regularly update the Fire Teams about the Incident information as it comes into control room.
4. DESIGN a PLAN OF ACTION to prevent incident escalation.
5. Ensure the Fire Team are prepared with all equipment and safe to proceed.
6. Continually update the OIM about the movements of Fire Teams.
7. RECORD all movements and planned movements onto the action/focus board used for briefing.
